The Gossamer Gear phone/accessory pouch
After using the Gossamer Gear phone pouch for 2 years I feel I can finally give it an honest review. While hiking and taking dozens if not hundreds of pictures and videos along the trail this pouch fills a great need. Instead of fighting the phone out of your pants pocket and while ascending the phone pokes your hip and leg you can use this to store your phone. It attaches to your shoulder strap via Velcro straps behind the pouch. The Velcro straps leave something more to be desired while the pouch zipper is good, padding is adequate, and front elastic pouch is good for a snack or ChapStick. Overall, the ease of access is what sold me. It has been a great product minus the super rough Velcro and overall attachment of it. The Velcro, while doing its job superbly can rough up your backpack shoulder straps and create the strap threads to come loose. 4 out of 5 stars.
I paid $20 for the pouch in Summer of 2023.
